Therapy and Clinical Services
Psychotherapy for Kids and Teens
Therapy offers children and teens a time and place to explore the thoughts, feelings and the situations that are challenging their ability to cope and thrive.
Children between the ages of 6-12 often respond well to a playful approach that is experiential and interactive. We do hard things, together.
Teens are navigating powerful emotions, complex relationships and an emerging sense of self. While some teens lean toward exploration, risk taking, and independence, other teens may withdraw and struggle with social and academic pressures. Our approach aims to support teens so they can move toward healthy relationships, develop a strong sense of who they are and equip them to take part in rich life experiences that serve their growth.
Autism Services
Kids and teens with autism spectrum disorder may benefit from both psychotherapy and/or clinical applied behaviour analysis (ABA) services.
Psychotherapy offers your child a safe place to explore and learn about the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, what it means to them, who they are, and how to navigate the demands of our unpredictable and highly social world.
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) emphasizes skill-building to meet goals that are meaningful to your child, your family and their future. Understanding your child’s unique strengths, interests and goals is a critical first step for us.

For families with Core Clinical Services funding with the Ontario Autism Program, these services are an eligible expense.
